It’s here, it’s happened. I’ve moved up. I’m on the next level. Gone are the days of being able to tick the 29-34 box on surveys. I’m officially in the 35-40 box (sometimes 35-45). Wow, where has the time gone? I don’t have any problem with getting older (we’re all doing so at the same rate), but it’s come so fast.
At this age aren’t you supposed to be ‘all grown up’, have it all figured out, be responsible, have lots of savings…?
I’m sure it’s around this age but I must have missed-out when they handed out the instructions/book/manual on such things. Perhaps you don’t get it that book until you’re 40?
When are you ‘grown up’ – 18, 26, 35? How do you know when you are?
My mental image is a handsome 28, but I’m sure there’s a reason the university girls near my office look at me like I’m a teacher. It’s because I’m 35.
Time has flown and I’ll be 50 before I know it I’m sure. I guess that means I’m keeping busy, having fun and don’t have the time to think about time.
Here’s to getting in the best shape of my life in my 35th year and time not slowing down!
